Who are we?

We are primarily a Contract Hire and Car Leasing Company, which means that we are not tied to any one Manufacture, Finance House or Dealership, this allows us to research the Market Place and source the most competitive leasing deals by marrying the best combinations of the three.

We established Auto Advantage in 1999 since then we have been supplying vehicles to Companies and Private Individuals all over the U.K.

Why use a Broker?

The broker's expert knowledge of a wide choice of leasing and industry providers can ensure fleets and private individuals alike get quality service together with the best prices. As a broker we gain access to key areas of the fleet market and other specialist fields for example the Bodyshop Courtesy Car Scheme; In turn the end user gets a friendlier local contact while the leasing provider gains access to potential customers who might not have otherwise used them.

A professional broker can act as a fleet consultant, giving you advice on which decision to take, they will remain in contact once the vehicle(s) have been ordered to help maintain the value of the deal. If done well a good brokerage is worth its weight in gold, however if done unprofessionally it is simply a fast quotation service that you cannot guarantee or rely on when you want to order your next vehicle.

Why Shouldn’t I go to my nearest dealership?

Feel free to get a quote from your nearest dealer, but you may not get the best price in the market. You may think that 'cutting out the middle man' would make significant savings this is not always the case. We argue that no-one else offers flexibility and access to the best deals at any one particular time, if used in the correct way a good broker could become the equivalent of an 'invisible' fleet manager.

More FAQ's

Supply:

All our vehicles are supplied via the U.K dealer network. This means you will receive the same benefits and security as you would if you bought a vehicle from your local dealer. It will be a UK specification vehicle with full UK warranty and servicing standards.

Delivery:

Usually takes between 7-14 working days if in stock. For factory orders, the lead times will depend on the specific manufacturer and your chosen specification. All vehicle’s are delivered to your preferred address (U.K Mainland) deliveries are normally included (few exceptions to this rule) our delivery drivers will carry out a detailed hand over of your vehicle.

Initial Rental/Deposit:

The initial rental is normally equivalent to 3x the monthly payment. Larger/Lower deposits can often be negotiated to offer a reduced/increased monthly payment, deposits are non refundable.

Fees:

Unless fees are charged by the funder (which is rare) or otherwise stated Auto Advantage Limited doesn’t levy any hidden or additional fees. i.e. Mercedes Benz have a Credit Acceptance Fee, in which case we would advise you prior to the order.

RFL/VED:

Contract Hire Vehicles generally include the Road Tax for the full duration of the contract. In terms of leasing and vehicle acquisition, we are a ‘whole of market broker’ in order to keep the total cost down to a bare minimum we offer a variety of finance options. Some contracts i.e Operating Lease’s actually work out cheaper even if the RFL isn’t included for the full term, we will advise you of these offers in advance of the order. N.B 95% of our offers are based on straightforward Contract Hire/Lease.

Roadside Assistance:

All vehicles include either 12 months or 3 years breakdown recovery; depending on the manufacturer.

Maintenance:

Maintenance is an optional cost and includes all servicing, tyres, brakes, exhaust, battery and labour. See maintenance section for more details.

Servicing:

Unless maintenance is included in the contract servicing a lease vehicle is the responsibility of the customer, the vehicle must be serviced in accordance to the manufactures guidelines. Click here to save money on your service.

Warranty:

All vehicles come with full UK manufacturer’s warranty, warranty periods and servicing schedules vary depending on the make, model and registration year, most manufacturers offer a 3 year 60,000 mile warranty, with some manufacturer’s extending the mileage limitation to 100,000 miles on selected models. (refer to manufacturer’s website)

Contract mileage:

It’s possible to reschedule the mileage with the finance company, i.e. if you need to increase or decrease the predicted mileage this can be agreed on both business contract hire and personal contract hire agreements.

Excess mileage:

If you exceed the predicted contract mileage, you will be charged at the excess mileage rate i.e 5 pence per mile. Based on: 1,000 miles x 0.05ppm it would cost you £50.00 (Excluding V.A.T)

Insurance:

The contract does not include insurance, you have to arrange your own fully comprehensive insurance on the vehicle, use our insurance tab to compare the best prices.

Gap Insurance:

The contract does not include Gap insurance, for more information use our Gap insurance tab to compare prices.

Early termination:

Contact Auto Advantage to request an early termination quotation, or to discuss the possibility of novating the lease.

End of contract:

At the end of the contract you simply hand the car back alternatively you can request a purchase price from the finance company or possibly extend the contract.

Our Top Tips!

Remember you’re funding depreciation, whilst you might not have been able to afford the vehicle (O.T.R) you might not have a problem with the lease price.

The Car or Van will be on your drive, you’ll run it, clean it, insure it as you would any other vehicle, nobody will know that you’re only financing the depreciation rather than the asset.
